Inspired by Henry David Thoreau’s Walden, the Walden Lounge Chair reflects on the idea of living with greater simplicity and intention. Its familiar wooden form is distilled into considered lines and essential elements. An exposed timber frame, gently curved arms, and an open back give the chair a sense of lightness and rhythm, while soft upholstery provides a counterpoint to the clarity of its structure. Balancing restraint with comfort, Walden brings a familiar archetype into the present—a chair made for the simple acts of sitting, resting, and being at ease.
