Saniharto Enggalhardjo was founded in early 1990 by the four Enggalhardjo brothers: Santoso, Yani, Harsono, Winarto. We began as a producer of sliced wood veneer and its related products. With Yani’s long experience in wood working production and machineries and the help of few Italian experts, we soon mastered the craftsmanship to produce doors, bentwood and table tops with marquetry. In 1997, the company experienced fast-paced growth by supplying doors as well as fine furniture for a five-star hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. It marked the beginning of our existence as a furniture manufacturer.

In a short period of time, we have grown from a local supplier with less than 100 employees into a global supplier with more than 1000 employees. We have also expanded our capacity by acquiring more high-standard machineries and building larger manufacturing area. Our factory now has a total building area of 350,000 sq ft (32,500 m2) on a land of 1,065,000 sq ft (98,940 m2). Yet we continue to grow as we keep up with customers’ demand.
